Worst hosting and support I have seen

Web4Africa has been a complete letdown from the start. Their ticket system is the slowest I have ever dealt with, I once waited over 72 hours for a response. Domain renewal is a mess, I tried to renew my domain and it got stuck for days, leading to my site being offline. The hosting is terrible, my pages take ages to load and there is constant downtime. I have had better service from free hosts. Do not trust their promises, they are all lies.

Waste of money and time

I made the mistake of getting their cheapest hosting plan thinking it would be fine for a small site. But the performance was atrocious. Pages took forever to load and my email setup never worked properly. I submitted a ticket about the email issue and they took six days to reply. Six days for a basic problem. Their support is the slowest I have ever dealt with. I eventually canceled and asked for a refund but they never processed it. This company is a scam.

Domain renewal disaster, hosting is crap

I really needed to renew my domain quickly because it was about to expire. Web4Africa made that impossible. Their renewal system is clunky and slow. After waiting three days for it to process I finally had to manually intervene and even then it was a mess. Their support is the slowest I have ever experienced. I sent a ticket about the delay and it took them over a day to reply with a generic answer. Their hosting is also terrible. My site is constantly slow and I have had multiple outages. Save yourself the headache and go with literally anyone else.

terrible customer service and hosting

I really wanted to like Web4Africa because they are an ICANN accredited registrar but my experience has been nothing but disappointing. Their customer support is the worst I have ever dealt with. I sent a ticket about a website migration issue and it took them over two days to respond. The response was generic and unhelpful. Their hosting is also incredibly slow. My site was loading so slowly that I was losing visitors and search engine rankings. The domain renewal process is a headache too. I tried to renew a domain and the system kept giving me errors. When I contacted support they took forever to fix it. I finally managed to renew but it took way longer than it should have. Do not use this company.

Terrible domain renewal process

I only needed to renew a domain with Web4Africa but even that was a disaster. Their support is incredibly slow, I had to contact them three times just to get a simple answer about renewal. The domain renewal itself took five days to process, causing my domain to expire and my website to go down. Their hosting is also bad, I tested it with a simple site and it was painfully slow. I am never using them again and I warn everyone to stay away from this company.

Unacceptable service all around

I manage multiple domains for clients and Web4Africa has been a constant headache. Their domain renewal system is so slow that I have to start the process weeks in advance to avoid expiration. Even then there are delays. Their hosting is just as bad with random outages and slow speeds. I opened a ticket about a critical outage and it took them four days to acknowledge it. The slowest ticket response I have ever seen. I am moving all my domains to a proper registrar.

Worst registrar I've ever used

I'm so frustrated with Web4Africa. I tried to transfer a domain to them and it was a nightmare, the process was slow and I got no updates. Their ticket system is the slowest I've encountered, I waited five days for a simple reply. The hosting is equally bad, my site was down more than it was up and the performance was terrible. I regret not reading reviews first. I'm moving all my domains away from this company as soon as possible. Avoid them if you value your time.

Disappointed with slow domain renewal

I needed to renew my business domain and I thought Web4Africa would be fine since they are ICANN accredited. Big mistake. The renewal process took almost ten days because of some internal issue they could not explain. My domain was at risk of expiring and I was stressing out. Their customer service is a joke, they take forever to respond to any query. I also have a hosting account with them and it is painfully slow. My website takes ages to load and I have lost visitors because of it. I have had enough. I am taking my business elsewhere. If you value your time and sanity, find another provider.

Slow, unreliable, and frustrating

I signed up for Web4Africa thinking they would be a solid choice but I was so wrong. Their domain renewal process is painfully slow and I almost lost my domain because of it. The hosting is unreliable with frequent downtimes that make my site look unprofessional. And when I tried to get help their support tickets take forever to get answered. The slowest ticket support I have ever dealt with. What a disappointment.

Slow domain renewal cost me my business

I run a small online store and my domain renewal with Web4Africa took over five days to go through. Five days! My entire site was down and I lost hundreds of dollars in sales. The worst part is their support ticket system is the slowest I have ever seen. I submitted a urgent request and it took them more than a day to even acknowledge it. When they finally responded they just said the renewal was processing. That was it. No apology no explanation. Their hosting is equally bad. My site kept timing out especially during peak hours. They promise fast servers but its all a lie. I am moving everything to another provider and I will never look back.
