Do not waste your money here

I honestly regret ever choosing Web4Africa. Their support is the slowest ticket system I have ever seen, I waited four days for a simple answer about setting up an email account. Domain renewal was a nightmare, I paid for it but it took them so long that my domain expired anyway. The hosting is terrible, my website is constantly slow and I get error messages all the time. I have tried to contact them multiple times but they just give generic responses. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

Unreliable hosting and unresponsive support

I needed a hosting provider for my small business and thought Web4Africa looked legit. Big mistake. The hosting was slow, my site would take forever to load and sometimes just crash. Their support is nonexistent, I opened a ticket about a critical error and got a reply days later that didn't even help. The slow domain renewal process is also a problem, it took them forever to renew my domain even though I paid upfront. I'm switching right now.

Domain renewal took a week to process

I needed to renew a domain that was about to expire. I went through the process on their site, paid, and then nothing happened for days. I thought it was done but then I got an email saying it was pending. I called support and they said it would be resolved soon but it took a full week for that domain to actually renew. In the meantime my site was down and I lost traffic. I will never use them again.

I should have read the reviews first

Man, I am kicking myself for not doing more research. I thought I was getting a solid African hosting provider but all I got was headaches. Their domain renewal process is a total joke. I tried to renew my .com.ng and it took over a week and multiple follow ups. They kept saying there was a technical error but never explained anything. And the hosting? Forget about it. My WordPress site keeps timing out and the database keeps crashing. I put in a support ticket about the slowest ticket response I have ever seen. It took them four days to reply and they just asked me to clear my cache. Not helpful at all. I feel like I am dealing with amateurs. I am moving to another registrar this week. Avoid these guys.

Slowest support and unreliable hosting

I have been a customer of Web4Africa for about a year and I can honestly say their service has gone downhill. Their hosting is bad, I constantly get error pages and slow load times. But the worst part is their support. I had a critical issue with my site and submitted a ticket. It was the slowest ticket I ever experienced, they took ten days to respond. By that time I had already figured out a workaround. Their domain renewal is also a pain, I had to call them multiple times to get it done. Very disappointed.

Disappointed with support and speed

I have been using Web4Africa for a few months now and I regret it every day. Their hosting is incredibly bad, my website loads like it is from the dial up era. I opened a ticket about the slow speeds and it was the slowest ticket response I have experienced. They took over a week to get back to me and then had the nerve to blame my website code. I also had trouble with domain renewal, the system kept failing and I had to manually ask them to process it. This company is not what it used to be. I am moving my sites as soon as I can.

The worst domain registrar I have used

Web4Africa is hands down the worst company I have ever dealt with. I tried to renew a simple domain and it took them a month to process it. Their hosting is also incredibly slow and their support never answers. I have lost so much money because of their incompetence. Avoid at all costs.
