I have been using Web4Africa for my domains and hosting and it has been a disaster. Their hosting is bad, I have had to restart my server multiple times because it crashes. The domain renewal process is slow and clunky, I almost lost one of my domains because their system glitched. And their support is the slowest ticket system I have ever encountered. I waited two weeks for a response to a simple question. I am so disappointed because I thought they were reputable. Never again.
I can't believe how bad this service is. The ticket system is the slowest I've ever dealt with, each query takes days to get a reply and even then it's not helpful. I tried to renew a domain and the portal kept throwing errors, I almost lost my domain because of their incompetence. The hosting is just as bad, my site is constantly slow and I've had multiple outages. This is not worth the money at all. I'm warning everyone to stay away from Web4Africa.
I've been building websites since the dial up days and I have never dealt with a company as frustrating as Web4Africa. Their hosting is absolutely terrible. My site went down for three days straight and when I finally got through to support they tried to blame my code. I've been using the same code on other hosts for years without issue. The domain renewal process is a joke too. I tried to renew a simple .com domain and it took almost a week to process. By that time my site was showing a parking page and I lost a ton of traffic. The slowest ticket response I ever got from them was over 48 hours for an urgent issue. Just stay away if you value your time.
