Alright for domain registration but the renewal fees stung

I started with GoDaddy because they made it so easy to get my domain. The initial price was cheap which hooked me in but when it was time to renew I was shocked by the jump. Their hosting is average at best, my site sometimes loads slow and Ive had to contact support a few times for downtime. The uptime is moderate but not reliable enough for a serious business. The VPS I tried was acceptable for a hobby site but nothing special. Honestly the worst part is the high domain registration fees after the first term and their tax charges are crazy high on every bill. I also had an account restriction once for no clear reason that took days to resolve. Its a fair performance hosting company if you watch your budget but I would not call it stable or cost effective.

Stable hosting but the price hikes are real

I host a couple of small business sites on GoDaddy and for the most part it's okay. The performance is fair, my sites load fine and I haven't had major crashes. But man, the renewal costs are brutal, I almost didn't renew because of it. Domain registration fees are also high compared to other registrars I've used. The tax charges are another thing, they just add a bunch of extra costs that feel unnecessary. I've also dealt with inconsistent hosting support, sometimes I get good help, other times I feel like I'm talking to a bot. It's stable but costly.

GoDaddy is okay but I am not impressed with the hidden costs

I started using GoDaddy because a friend recommended it. The initial purchase was smooth and my domain was set up quickly. But after the first year the expensive hosting renewal costs shocked me. Also the high tax charges hosting service are annoying, it feels like they nickel and dime you. The hosting itself is average hosting service, my site works but I have had some moderate uptime hosting provider issues where the site was down for a bit. I tried their VPS and it was acceptable but not worth the money. I also had a random account suspension issue that was a pain to resolve. The support team is hit or miss. They are a stable but costly hosting provider, I guess I will stay for now but I am not thrilled.

A decent hosting provider with fair performance and stable uptime

I have been using GoDaddy for about two years now and I must say their hosting service is pretty average but gets the job done. I started with a basic shared hosting plan for my personal blog and the performance has been fair, not super fast but consistent enough for my needs. The uptime has been moderate, I have experienced a few short downtimes here and there but nothing major that lasted hours. Their VPS hosting is acceptable for small business sites, I upgraded to it recently and the speed improved a bit. One thing that bothers me is the high domain registration fees, they are really expensive compared to other registrars I checked. Also, the renewal costs are crazy high, I was shocked when my first year ended and the price jumped up. Another issue is the high tax charges on each invoice, it feels like they add extra fees everywhere. I had an occasional account restriction once when I tried to bulk edit my DNS settings, it was annoying but support fixed it quickly. Overall, a stable but costly hosting provider that works if you don't mind paying a premium.

GoDaddy Works Fine But Watch Those Renewal Prices

I've used GoDaddy for a couple of personal websites and it's been an okay experience. Their hosting is average, not amazing but not terrible. The uptime is moderate, my sites stay up most of the time but there's been a few hiccups. I appreciate the acceptable VPS hosting for a small project I ran, it was stable enough. The big downside is the domain registration fees are high and the hosting renewal costs are expensive, it adds up fast. Plus they tack on high tax charges which feels like a hidden fee. I've had occasional account restrictions, usually for security stuff, and once a random account suspension that freaked me out but was resolved. Their support is inconsistent, sometimes I get a pro and other times a trainee. It's a decent web hosting performance for the money but definitely stable but costly hosting provider.

GoDaddy is a fair option with some growing pains

I started with GoDaddy for my first domain and I have to say the average hosting service is a good starting point. The fair performance hosting company offers reliable uptime but the high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs are steep. I also had high tax charges on my renewal that made me question sticking around. There was an occasional account restrictions issue that was frustrating but support was polite. The VPS hosting is acceptable and the moderate uptime hosting provider keeps my site online. Overall it is a stable but costly hosting provider that works for now.

Decent hosting if you can handle the sticker shock

I've been with GoDaddy for about two years now and my overall feeling is that they offer a decent web hosting performance but the pricing structure is tough to swallow. Getting started is cheap and attractive but then you get hit with high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs when its time to renew. They also tack on high tax charges which makes me feel like I'm paying more than I expected. The VPS hosting is acceptable in my experience, it runs my small business site without major issues but the moderate uptime hosting provider label fits. I did have a random account suspension issue once, it was a glitch on their end and they fixed it, but it was stressful. Customer service is inconsistent, sometimes great, other times frustrating.

Stable but costly provider

I have been with GoDaddy for two years and I would call them a stable but costly hosting provider. My ecommerce site has had very little downtime which is good. But the cost of renewing my domain and hosting plan is ridiculous almost double what I payed initially. There was an incident where they flagged my account for suspected fraud and I had to spend a day on the phone to clear it up. Their support was inconsistent some reps were clueless others were great. Overall it is fine if you have money to burn.

GoDaddy works for me despite the high costs

I use GoDaddy for my personal WordPress site and I have to say its been a mixed hosting experience. The shared hosting is okay, the speed is decent most days but I have had a few random slow periods. The domain registration fees are high and the renewal cost is even worse, but I like having everything in one place. I had a random account suspension once when I updated my site design, it was a pain but support fixed it within a day. The tax charges are another annoyance but I guess thats just taxes. I use their VPS for a side project and it gives acceptable performance for what I need. Overall, GoDaddy is a stable but costly provider, I appreciate the tools even if the support is inconsistent. It gets the job done for me.

GoDaddy has been a reliable partner for my online presence

I have been using GoDaddy for my small business site for about four years now and it has been a decent journey. Their average hosting service handles my product listings well. I have had a mixed hosting experience where some months are great and others are just okay. The moderate uptime hosting provider ensures my site is up during business hours which is crucial. I use their acceptable VPS hosting for a customer portal and it has been stable. The fair performance hosting company delivers good enough speed. The high domain registration fees are a downside and the expensive hosting renewal costs make me think twice. The high tax charges hosting service is a hidden cost I dislike. I have faced occasional account restrictions hosting when I tried to tweak settings and a random account suspension issue that was confusing but support fixed it. The inconsistent hosting support is a bummer but the email support is decent. Overall a decent web hosting performance and a stable but costly hosting provider that works for me.
