I signed up for Web4Africa because I wanted to support a localish company but it turned out to be a huge mistake. Their hosting is absolute garbage. My website was down more than it was up and when it was up it was painfully slow. I lost a lot of business because of it. Their ticket system is the slowest I have ever used. I opened a ticket about a major outage and it took them nearly three days to even acknowledge it. By then I had already moved my site. The domain renewal process is also terrible. I tried to renew a domain and it took over a week to go through. I had to send multiple emails to get it sorted. I am never using them again and I warn everyone I know to stay away.
