I have used GoDaddy for my personal blog for about a year now and it has been a mixed hosting experience. The uptime is moderate, I have had maybe two or three short outages but nothing that ruined my day. The web hosting performance is decent for a small site but I would not trust it for anything mission critical. The VPS hosting is acceptable if you need a little more power but their prices are too high for what you get. The high domain registration fees are a joke, I can get a domain for half the price elsewhere. And the expensive hosting renewal costs are a killer, they really squeeze you after the first year. The support team is inconsistent, I had one good experience and one bad one. I also dealt with occasional account restrictions when they flagged my account for no reason. Overall it is a stable but costly hosting provider that works but leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
