I have been with GoDaddy for about three years now and I can say it is a stable but costly hosting provider. My sites have had decent uptime, maybe 99.5%, so that moderate uptime hosting provider label fits. The VPS hosting is acceptable for my small business needs, I run a couple of low traffic sites and it handles them fine. But the high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs are ridiculous. I paid like $5 for a domain the first year and then they wanted $20 to renew. And the tax charges are always a surprise. Also I had an occasional account restrictions issue where they suspended my account because I guess my payment method looked suspicious, it was a total pain to get resolved. The support is inconsistent, sometimes you get a great agent, other times you get someone who clearly doesn't know what they are doing. I am thinking of moving to another host to save money.
