I have been using GoDaddy for my small business site for about two years now and it has been a mixed hosting experience for sure. On the plus side their VPS hosting offers acceptable performance for my basic needs, I run a simple informational site and it works fine. But I recently had a random account suspension issue where they locked my account with no warning saying I violated some policy I didn't even know about. Took me three days and several calls to get it resolved. That was a nightmare. Also the hosting renewal costs are just too high, I feel like they bait you with low introductory prices and then hit you with high renewal fees and these surprising tax charges. The support team is a total gamble, I have had some decent help and other times I felt like I was talking to a robot. Overall it is a fair performance hosting company if you can stomach the costs and the occasional headaches.
