I moved my VPS to GoDaddy because of a promotion, but the renewal costs are brutal. The hosting performance is fair, my site loads decently fast and I have had moderate uptime, maybe a couple of short downtimes in six months. What really bugs me is the high domain registration fees and the unexpected tax charges that make every bill higher than I anticipated. I also had an occasional account restriction once when I was updating my payment info, which was annoying. The support team was helpful that time but other times they have been slow. It is a stable but costly hosting provider, I am considering other options for next year.
