I've been using GoDaddy for about a year now to host my photography portfolio and a small blog. The service is okay, nothing to write home about. They're a moderate uptime hosting provider, my site has been down maybe three times but each time it took a while to come back. The VPS hosting they offer is acceptable for light use but don't expect fast speeds. What really bugs me is the high domain registration fees and the expensive renewal costs that seem to go up every year. Also they add these high tax charges that I didn't see coming. I had an account restriction issue once that was annoying to resolve. Overall it's a stable but costly hosting provider and I'm not sure I'll stay.
