I signed up with GoDaddy because they had a good deal for the first year but now I’m stuck with expensive hosting renewal costs. The VPS hosting is acceptable, it works okay for my needs but nothing amazing. The uptime is moderate, I’ve had a few downtimes that lasted a couple hours. The domain registration fees are also high, way more than other registrars. And then they hit you with high tax charges on top of that, it’s just greedy. I also experienced an occasional account restriction issue where I couldn’t access my control panel for no reason. Their support is inconsistent, sometimes they help fast but other times they’re slow. It’s a stable but costly hosting provider, not worth the money in the long run.
