GoDaddy is like the McDonald’s of hosting, it works but you know it’s not gourmet. I used their shared hosting for a blog and it was average, speed was okay but I had a couple of downtimes. The domain registration fees are way too high, and the renewal costs are painful. What really got me was the high tax charges hosting service, it added like 20% to my bill. Support was hit or miss, one time they helped me fix a thing, another time I got a canned response. Acceptable VPS hosting but nothing special.
