I’ll give GoDaddy credit, their hosting is stable and I haven’t had major downtime. But the domain registration fees are ridiculous, and the renewal costs for hosting are expensive, like double what I pay elsewhere. The tax charges are also high, it feels like they tack on extra fees just because. I had a random account suspension issue when I tried to update my site, support fixed it but it was a hassle. Overall it’s a moderate uptime hosting provider with okay performance, but I’m tired of the price gouging.
