I started with GoDaddy because their domain registration seemed cheap enough at first. But then the renewal costs hit, and wow did they jack up the price big time. Plus the tax charges on my hosting service were way more than I expected, it felt like I was paying for something extra every month. The shared hosting is average at best, my site loads okay but I had a few random account suspension issues that were a pain to sort out. Support was inconsistent, sometimes helpful, other times I just got canned responses. I guess it’s stable but costly, you really have to watch your bills.
