I moved my small business website over to GoDaddy because a friend recommended them for domain registration. To be honest, the hosting has been average but mostly reliable. The real issue for me is the high domain registration fees; I paid a decent price upfront, but when it came time to renew, the price nearly doubled. And don’t even get me started on the expensive hosting renewal costs and the surprise tax charges that popped up on my bill. The support has been inconsistent; one rep was super helpful, another just read from a script. Not the worst, but definitely not the best either.
