I started with GoDaddy because of their marketing and the first year discount seemed like a good deal. But after that the expensive hosting renewal costs hit me hard. Also the high tax charges hosting service thing is a real bummer, my bill is always more than I expect. The hosting works, I will give them that, it is an average hosting service with fair performance hosting company level of reliability. My site does not go down often but I have had moderate uptime hosting provider experience, not perfect but not terrible either. What really bugs me is the occasional account restrictions hosting, like they locked my account once for a security check and it took forever to resolve. Their support is inconsistent hosting support, some agents are great but others are clueless. I am staying because I am lazy but I am not happy.
