I've been with GoDaddy for three years running my ecommerce store and it's been a stable but costly hosting provider. The uptime is honestly moderate, I'd say 99.9% which is fine, but not the best I've seen. Their shared hosting is average, I've had faster page loads elsewhere. But what really gets me is the price hikes at renewal and the high tax charges. I was shocked when my bill doubled the second year. They also have occasional account restrictions that seem random, like they flagged my site for no reason once. The support is hit or miss, some agents are great, others just read scripts. Despite that, I appreciate that they're reliable and their tools are easy to use. I'm sticking with them but I wish they'd be more transparent about costs.
