I use GoDaddy for a couple of domains and hosting for a side project, and it's okay. The hosting is average, decent performance, my uptime has been moderate, maybe one outage in six months. Their VPS is acceptable for light use, not super fast but stable. What gets me is the high domain registration fees and the renewal costs, they really sneak up on you. The tax charges are also noticeable, I didn't expect that. I had an issue where my account got temporarily restricted for no reason, and the support process was slow and inconsistent, some reps were great, others were clueless. Overall, it's a fair hosting company with stable performance, but the pricing model is frustrating. I'll probably stay for now because it's convenient, but I'm not loyal.
