I think GoDaddy is a decent web hosting performance provider for beginners. The uptime is moderate and I have had a few outages but nothing too serious. The shared hosting is okay for a small blog or business site. What bugs me is the high domain registration fees and expensive hosting renewal costs. It feels like they get you with the intro price then jack it up. The tax charges are also high which is frustrating. I have had occasional account restrictions that locked me out for a bit and the support team was inconsistent in helping me fix it. But overall it is a stable hosting provider if you can handle the cost. I have not had random account suspension issues yet thank goodness. It is acceptable VPS hosting for the price.
