I moved my personal blog to GoDaddy after a friend recommended them and I have to say the experience has been mixed. The setup was easy and the domain registration was cheap upfront but man, the high domain registration fees hit hard when I went to renew. The expensive hosting renewal costs are no joke either plus there are high tax charges that make each bill feel steep. My hosting has been stable but its definitely an average hosting service with moderate uptime. I haven't had any random account suspension issues yet but I've read about them so I keep backups. The support team is okay, I've had both good and bad interactions. For a small personal site it works but I wouldn't trust it for anything mission critical.
