We live in an apartment without central AC so I got a Hisense portable unit for the summer. It was easy to set up with the window kit included and it cools our main room really well. The remote control works from across the room and I like the fan only option for when it is not too hot. The only downside is the exhaust hose is a bit short so I had to position the unit close to the window, which limited where I could put it. But once it is set up it does a great job. For anyone looking for a portable AC, this is one of the better ones I have used.
